Fete – Saturday 2nd July 2011

The Swainsthorpe Village Fete was opened by the Rt. Hon. Richard Bacon M.P. who was accompanied by his wife and two children. They joined in the fun and “had a go” at most of the events and activities on what was a brilliantly sunny afternoon. Janet Flower, Chairman of the Parish Council, ¬†thanked both for attending and Mrs Bacon was presented with a bouquet of flowers. The Fete raised ¬£1060 towards village funds and Janet thanked everybody for coming along and went on to thank all members of the PIGs (Project Ideas Group) , lead by Tracy Moulton, for their hard work in making this year’s Fete a great success.
